Classroom Guide Key Functions:

• Implementation of Montessori Curriculum;

• Planning and Preparation of Materials and Environments;

• Documentation of Student Progress;

• Communicating with Staff, Parents, and Administration.

Representative Activities:

1. Implementation and Documentation of Program Curriculum and Student Progress

2. Understand Montessori philosophy and curriculum

3. Implementation of curriculum according to individual child’s developmental level and needs.

4. Thoughtful and consistent work with assistant, Team, and Campus partners

5. Document curriculum implementation and uniform record keeping

6. Commitment to reflective practices and ongoing Montessori-focused professional development

Classroom Assistant & Support Role Key Functions:

• Support Lead Guide in all learning environments

• Provide student support and connection to classroom

• Assist in student development and independence

• Partner with Guide in support of parents and systems

Representative Activities:
1. Classroom preparation and cleanliness

2. Assist with daily documentation needs

3. Observe and support children in all learning environments

4. Establish a professional relationship with colleagues and parents
